LRBA Youth Event's
School Prayer Groups
The LORD was praised for the formation of Prayer Groups started by our Youth who went to Hillcrest Baptist Assembly in August. Groups (20-30) meet from 7:30-7:45 AM each Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at the ampi-theater by the Cafeteria. Youth Council encourages our churches to support and encourage this group in any way possible; including occasionally furnishing refreshments. Our Youth recommend a gallon of Orange Juice, quart of milk, and 2 dozen donuts –1 chocolate and 1 glazed. Bro. Brandon Hendricks will maintain a list of churches and individuals who would like to provide refreshments. Those interested should notify either Bro. Norman or Brandon.
Churches working together We were reminded that all our churches, as a larger Body of CHRIST, can do more together than we can individually. This is true with our Youth as well and is part of the reason for having a Youth Council. On any of our trips/efforts, if there is not enough youth, leaders, adults or transportation from one church to make a trip, it is almost a certainty there would be enough of each as we function as a larger Body.
